my name is Selena Poveda. I am a passionate Hispanic Canadian with a deep dedication to soccer. Being an active participant in my family, school and team, I strive to balance my love for sports with my commitment to academics and involvement with my loved ones. I actively engage in school sports, portraying, a bubbly, hard-working, and positive personality, both on and off the soccer field . Looking towards the future, my goals extend beyond soccer pitch. I aim to pursue a career in teaching and psychology, fuelled by my desire to make a positive impact on other’s lives. My soccer career is not solely focussed on my enjoyment for the sport but to hopefully contribute to my occupational goals
